So this is a new type of blog post that I am writing today; It's a birthday haul!
I was thinking over about sharing this with you and from many comments I received on Twitter of you whom wanted to see what goodies I received on my birthday.. well here we go!
So for my birthday I went for a weekend away to the wonderful place of York; Both myself and my mum went so it was very much more of a girly weekend! Hehe. We had so much of a struggle when it came to getting there, for the first time we travelled there by train and I think we can safely say the experience was quite overwhelming...
But we did it and we got there! *Phew*
I had the most beautiful cards and stunning gifts that as you may see, really reflected my love and adore for all things cute and shabby!
I feel that each gift has its own special meaning, as I have got older I didn't have a particular thought of 'what I would like for my birthday' But I am hoping some point to re-do my bedroom and make it totally vintage and shabby! So i'm very sure many of these beautiful gifts will have their proud place in there!
Of course if you have any questions if your curious on anything I received i'd be more than happy to tell you more about it! Hehe. Because a lot of my family wasn't too sure on what to get as they were worried I had already had it.. they kindly gave me money to buy what I would prefer instead! With this as you may have spotted I purchased the Feeling Dandy kit by Benefit, a Fashionista palette which had a free mascara and a stunning O.P.I Nail Varnish in Pedal Faster Suzi! My brother, sister in law and lovely baby niece also gave me a boots voucher to go towards a brand new perfume i've been having my eye on too! I'm sure I will be giving you brand new posts on these as soon as I can!
I would love to thank all my wonderful family for the sweet and kind hearted cards and gifts, It really was a lovely birthday away from a lot of stress and emotional times back at home so I couldn't be any more grateful!
