Binky London - Nail Polish Range Perfect For Summer!*

Mad about Made In Chelsea?
You can now have the glamour right to your fingertips!

Hello Sweeties! I'm hoping you are all having a marvelous Friday, Horraaay for the weekend! As I have mentioned before in my previous posts, I have a few exciting reviews coming your way introducing new brands and independent companies. Binky London has been a post that believe you me, Is one I've been in my complete element to talk to you about.
I've watched Made In Chelsea since the first series took a hold of our screens, the drama the fashion, the people themselves and just the atmosphere of Chelsea brought into light completely took my interest.
One of the most down to earth ladies, whom has her own unique style and is absolutely stunning is Binky Felstead; As of the end of last year, Binky brought out her own Nail varnish line reflecting the Chelsea lifestyle and of course the Fashion!

I'm very proud to be introducing Binky London to you all, to let you get a glimpse of the collection and my initial thoughts on the varnishes in hand.

Products from right to left:
Bright Pink
Silver Sparkler
Sky Blue

All comments and opinions are 100% my own and I've not been paid to say them.

---------------------------------------------------

Bright Pink Nail Varnish - Fashion Colour From Binky London

  • A 12ml product which should be used within 36months of purchase.
  • Packaging is modern and with both the font and logo of the company clearly printed.
  • Product's size and bottle shape reminds me of Nails Inc and Models Own, a perfect amount for such a bold vibrant pink.
  • The varnish consistency seemed almost like silk when applied to the nail, a steady flow not at all too runny or thick.
  • From applying one coat there was a decent amount of coverage; of course for a long lasting manicure/pedicure two coats should be applied along with a topcoat to lock in the colour.
  • Impressive shine once the polish was dry; caught within many areas of lighting the polish would glisten this would even do greatly without a topcoat!
  • I adored the shade of this pink because it was a standout colour that went with many styles and looks, with all this wonderful sun we've been getting its been a shade that I've happily worn on my toes and hand nails!
  • A go to statement colour that can be used as both an all over coat or within nail art.
  • Surprisingly quick drying time which is handy when you're on the go!

Silver Sparkler Nail Varnish - Textured Glitter From Binky London

  • A 12ml product that must be used within 36months of purchase.
  • An exciting varnish from the textured glitter collection, a beautiful silver that can be built up in application to an overall showstopping effect.
  • I love to apply glitter varnishes on my ring finger, not only due to collaborating it with another colour but because I find glitters a lot more difficult to remove! But from using this varnish it didn't feel as if it was harsh on the nail's surface when removing its entirety.
  • This is a varnish that I wouldn't suggest for placing on-top of another varnish, simply because in just one coat this glitter is pretty much opaque; But I have noticed that they do have specially created special effects topcoats on the Binky London website which you can check out in the links at the end of this post!
  • As you can imagine, the way this glitter picks up under light is fantastic this is a varnish you could wear for a celebration or cocktails with the girls!
  • Fast drying for when on the go!

Purchase Silver Sparkler Here

----------------------------------------------

Sky Blue Nail Varnish - Fashion Colour From Binky London

  • A 12ml product which should be used within 36months of purchase.
  • A gorgeous sky blue shade which has been lovely to wear in the Spring and Summer months, the varnish is vibrant with only one coat of polish!
  • I was always unsure about blue varnishes on myself personally, but with this collection from Binky London it has certainly opened my adventurous side up to be daring with colour. This is a shade that can compliment all skin tones!
  • Consistency was also very subtle, not at all runny, which made an overall glossy shine even just with one coat!
  •  This is a fun statement colour to wear for any occasion and will be a most used favourite of mine that I can be sure of.
Purchase Sky Blue Here

----------------------------------------------

Swatches of each varnish - Just one coat of polish for this overall look!

I would love to hear what your thoughts on Binky London are! Any of the above polishes shown any interest? Of course let me know in the comments!

Petite Paris - La Redoute Spring Summer 2014 Collection OOTD*

Review Piece For La Redoute
Spring Summer 2014 Collection

There are so many online stores and brochure companies now on the fashion scene, and La Redoute has been one that I've noticed advertise frequently with their French style fashion. I was contacted by a team member in regards to their launch of their spring/summer 2014 collection, to be given the opportunity to review an item was very honorable.
As I browsed their new collection, I was thinking in terms of something that would become great use to me, an item which could be dressed up or down.

All comments and opinions are 100% my own and I've not been paid to say them.

Finally making my decision, I opted for the round neck embellished sweater with 3/4 sleeves. The Jewell trim has been something that caught my eye, as I've seen many sweaters taking on this style which gives it that added sparkle detail!

On receiving the item, to my surprise it wasn't at all creased and all of the jewel pieces were intact. The sweater fabric was soft to the touch, not at all itchy and very light to wear, which I found perfect for the spring/summer weather we've been having here in the UK.

As i'm petite I found the sweater to fit comfortably on my frame and could be styled in many ways, I chose for these pictures some pastel jeans and sandals for a casual look. This item was a good quality piece and I'm sure even up to Autumn I will have plenty of wear from it!

Top - La Redoute
Jeans - Vero Moda
Sandals - Primark
Necklace - Vintage Vixen

The only concerns which I found with this sweater, was the fact that if there were to be an incident where the Jewels would fall off or be lost, there were no back up ones sent with the item to repair it. Also there was nothing stated on the way to wash this item! With this being said it's quite a delicate piece and needs to be looked after when washing the garment.

Feel free to check out the collection online and do let me know which is your favourite pieces in the comments bellow!

Thank you for reading lovelies!

New Feature Friday!
Featuring ShopStayWild

Ah well it's finally the weekend! And you know what that means here at UniqueLoveStyle..Feature Friday time!! This week's feature is about a lady whom I came across when watching Trisha Paytas on YouTube; Trisha's May favorites video really stood out to me because of the beautiful glasses she wore at the start; I just had to click to the store's link to see not only these glasses but the other fabulous items ShopStayWild produce.

If you love statement pieces, something that you want to be 100% unique and creative, then ShopStayWild is your definite go to online store. Not only does this lady own and run the store, but she is also a Makeup artist which I could see clearly with her amazing creativity, imagination and of course a sneaky peek at her Instagram too!

It's my absolute pleasure to delve in a little more about Nikki and welcome her to my readers, Hope you enjoy our interview!

----------------------------------------------------

Interview with Nikki Gutierrez l Makeup Artist, Owner & CEO Of ShopStayWild.com

1) What has been your key inspiration to your current career?
Being a makeup artist, the hours are so long and unpredictable. I discovered Etsy about 2 years ago and I desperately wanted to try selling my creations. I had just had my son at the time, he was about 9 months and I didn't want to leave him at home with a babysitter to go find a 9-5 job I hated that would literally pay me pennies. So I guess you can say my inspiration was my son. I wanted a way to make money, aside from makeup artistry, that would allow me to be with him as much as I could.

2) What do you enjoy the most about your job?
What I enjoy most about being a makeup artist is making people feel beautiful. It's such an amazing feeling truly loving what you do, and people love you for it. That's the only career that people are impressed with the fact that I never went to school or had any proper instruction. Everything I know, I taught myself.
What I enjoy most about StayWild is creating. I absolutely love coming up with new designs. I can't begin to explain the awesome feeling of shipping my designs to Italy, London, and Spain. I feel so blessed that people like my creations just as much as I do.
 3) To date, what has been your 'proudest' moment?
This may sound cheesy but every time I do a brides makeup & she's so happy she could cry, I'm proud. When I pack up an order, I'm proud. Every time I'm overworked and overwhelmed, I'm proud. Every time I pay my bills on time & In full, I'm so darn proud. I'm a single mom of two, supporting herself while running two business. When I say that, I'm proud.
 4) Where do you see yourself in the future?
I see great things happening in the future for both my businesses & myself. I'm so determined to succeed, I know greatness is right around the corner. I think the key to success is working your booty off & not being afraid to take risks.
 5) What tips/advice would you give to someone who wants to go down the same career path as yourself?
Really think and consider how much work goes into it. There are nights I'm on set till 6am, then I wake up at 9am and keep on working. There are days where I have to pack up 60 orders by myself. The point is....none of this feels like work to me. I am so in love what I do. If you have a passion and a dream...go for it. Your going to have to work your butt off to succeed but if you love what you do, you'll work with a big smile on your face. Don't give up on your dreams and don't ever push your dreams aside for anyone else. Always stay wild.

6) Which would you say is your favorite item from your shop at the moment?
Oh this is a hard one!!! Probably the "Espanola" Sunglasses. I love the clear frame & floral details of these Sunnies. They rock my world! I hope they rock yours too.

It would mean the world to me if you checked out Nikki's networking links a long with her online store which has so much more to check out!

GreenLand - Fruit Emotions & Fruit Extracts Review*

Hello lovelies! Hope you are all doing well. I have a bunch of review posts to get through, so do keep a look out for those in the upcoming weeks.
Today's post is a review for Greenland products; They're a natural bath and body company dedicated to using the most organic ingredients within their products.

Review of - Fruit Emotions Grapefruit-Ginger Gel mask, Coconut-Tangerine Body butter and Fruit extracts papaya body & massage oil

All comments and opinions are 100% my own and I've not been paid to say them.

----------------------------------------------
Fruit Emotions//Grapefruit-Ginger Gel Mask test and thoughts

  • A 10ml product that should be used within 12 months of purchase.
  • Mask's purpose is to vitalize and hydrate the skin and bring strength to the surface; it is an intensive product.
  • The grapefruit was very refreshing for the skin, I could literally feel the product working while the ginger had an uplifting scent to it.
  • Because I have combination skin which is also sensitive, the more I left the mask on, the more I felt it tingle which is why I left this mask on for around 10 minutes at the most.
  • There were slight apricot seed pits within the gel, this felt almost exfoliating when removing with warm water, which is where I noticed my drier areas to be reduced!
  • Personally this wouldn't be a face mask that I'd use on a weekly basis, but more once a month for an extra skin boost; I would find this product to work particularly well when feeling run down with a cold, because of the ginger being such a positive impact to the senses.

----------------------------------------------
Fruit Emotions//Body Butter Coconut-tangerine test and thoughts

  • A 100ml product that should be used within 12months of purchase.
  • I'm obsessed with using body butters, and I must admit that a coconut scent has been the top of my list for any type of moisturizer; with this body butter, the added tangerine wasn't barely as noticeable as I would have thought, it did however give the scent a zing to it!
  • The consistency of the body butter is slightly thick, but not overly greasy; when applied to the skin it feels light and easy to blend even on the driest of patches!
  • I used this product after being in the shower, it absorbed into the skin like a dream which goes to show my skin was in need of hydrating so it was a hero body butter!
  • It is a great travel sized product, but of course I would hope to see it in an even bigger size if it has not been created already, in the future! I'm keen to find out how the other scents match up from the fruit emotions range.

----------------------------------------------
Fruit Extracts//Papaya Body & Massage Oil test and thoughts

  • A 100ml sized product that should be used within 12months of purchase.
  • This is a screw top item which when opened there is a small hole in the lid, I found this much easier because I was able to pour a better amount than it all coming out at once!
  •  Now personally, I've not really smelt Papaya before so I wasn't sure on whether or not i'd like the aroma, but I was pleasantly surprised with the sweetness of the scent it almost reminded me of a juicy lime, very exotic and realistic.
  • I suffer with dry skin at times so I was interested on how my skin would benefit from using an oil, most of the time I've used a body butter or moisturizing cream so this was an interesting experience for me! I found the oil light and not at all runny, it didn't leave the skin greasy or sticky in texture but very smooth and soft with the scent lingering for a long time which I found pleasant!
  • Everything within this oil was natural, with 100% organic extracts so it felt pure and not at all artificial.

New Feature Friday!
Featuring Candy Clothing

Hey beauties! Happy Friday to you all; I know the features have been a while, but I've got plenty of independent businesses to introduce to you over the next couple of weeks so keep a look out!
This Friday's Feature is a company that I came across when browsing Twitter, I was immediately drawn to their pictures which were beautiful images of their products and had to click to view their website!

They sell a range of products with a cute, unique and affordable side to them, and even better, for every item that is sold, £1 is donated to The Children For Peace charity.

Career tips advice I would give to somebody is that never ever give up on anything you want to do, make sure you do a lot of research on other established clothing stores, being unique with fashion styles, compare prices etc see what is needed in the fashion industry and maybe look into a fashion course which would be ideal too as its good to have some experience or knowledge in the fashion sector.

6) Which would you say is your favourite item off your website at the moment?
This is a very difficult question as I do love all the items on the online store but if I had to choose I would have to say the Blueberry & Pink Bubblegum Vanilla Ice Cream Jumper or the Black & Pink Baking Too Many Cakes Basketball Net Top.

----------------------------------------------------

These are just a few items from their website, but I'm sure you can see the creativity and the uniqueness of each one! Personally it would be hard not to purchase everything from the site..I'd love to hear your thoughts on Candy Clothing so feel free to comment in the comments section below!
