Cath Kidston Inspired Water Decal Nail-Art ~ BornPretty*

Step by Step and review of
BornPretty Water Nail-decals

Hello there beauties! Hope you're all having a great week! I was contacted by BornPretty, a company which sells a wide range of products from nail art to Home and garden wear; To review their water nail-decals for you all. Of course as a adorer of nail art I happily accepted the opportunity and will show you step by step on how to use these decals and create a look inspired by the prints of Cath Kidston.

Water nail-decal application step by step

1- Firstly I chose my base varnish, for this look I used MAC's Glamour Daze - In the Limelight, which is a cool toned mint shade with a cream finish. I applied this to the nail and allowed it to dry evenly, I found two coats left a even base cover to apply the decals onto.

2-  After the varnish was dry, I then removed the nail decal sheet from the packaging, ensuring then I had a small sized dish to place in cool water which will be used for the application.

3- I then used a pair of scissors to cut out the desired parts that I would be using for the nail. In this case I cut out two of the patterns, one large and the other was smaller. I then peeled off the sheet and carefully dipped the first pattern into the small dish of water for around 10-15 seconds.

4-  After the decal is moistened I placed the patterned side onto the nail, which resulted to the paper backing to easily glide off which can then be disposed, leaving the pattern on the nail and to then lightly dab the excess water off with a paper towel.

5- Repeat the same process with the smaller decal ensuring all water has been absorbed from application of the nail.

6- Once you're happy with the decal's position and it has been patted dry, the last step is to seal in the design using a top coat varnish! Allow for it to fully dry and then the final look is complete.

I found using these decals very simple and such an easy go-to product whenever you want something quick and effective. At the affordable price with a wide arrange of designs and colours, BornPretty will keep you on-top of the nail trends every season.
Delivery of the product was quick and sent within simple packaging with no breakages or complications. I would highly recommend this website to anyone and if you like these step by step posts then do let me know within the comments section for more of them to come!
